Misión Libre Press was formed in 2023 as Limited Liability Company under California state laws and is headed by D.A. Horton, PhD.

D.A. Horton serves as an Assistant Professor and Program Director of the Intercultural Studies program at California Baptist University. He is also blessed to serve as an Associate Teaching Pastor at The Grove Community Church.

He has been blessed to become a published author in 2012 and has since written numerous Bible studies, books, among other audio and visual forms of content. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Theology with a focus on North American Missions at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. His dissertation was titled "The Quantitative and Qualitative Measuring of Spiritual Capital Among Latinas/os in Higher Education."

He and his best friend, Elicia, have been married for over 20 years. They have two daughters and one son.

After investing over two decades into developing his pen game, while dabbling lightly with production, D.A. is now producing beats for emerging and established lyricists to provide their lyrical creativity with musical support.
